Hello and welcome to my page :)
My name is Vladimir Krstic.
I'm a web designer and developer with passion for exploring
and learning new technologies,
as well as helping others become better programmers as quickly as possible, while also
having a lot of fun!
I'm also a Udemy instructor and a teaching assistant
in one of the most popular Web development courses.
I use a variery of tools when developing for web:
JavaScript, jQuery, React with Redux, Node, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB
and others. I've also worked with Java, building various Android mobile applications.
My other interests include photography, graphic design, urban exploring, photo and video editing as well as writing content
for web sites.
Creating a modern, attractive web design is a must in today's world of fast-growing web market. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a freelancer or simply a hobbyist, a modern, well-designed ang thought-of site will make you stand above your competition and attract more views. A great website always starts with great user experience. A number of different skills are used to achieve this goal. Having a deep understanding of graphic design and color theory is a prerogative for making stunning, yet simple and effective web designs.
In the age of the Internet, with information travelling in mere seconds from one corner of the globe to another, every single day more and more people get connected in their daily lives. Having a website has become a prerequisite for any type of activity where the goal is to reach as many people as possible. For a programmer, it is vital to be able to choose from the ever increasing pool of techonologies and create a great-looking, functional and fast website that will meet your demands.
Perhaps the most important aspect of the information age we are living in is the increasing demand for new skills. Acquiring these skills no longer needs to be a long, cumbersome and, above all, expensive experience. We have unprecedented opportunities for learning remotely, and we should take them. There is an ever growing number of teaching platforms that greatly facillitate this process, Udemy being the most famous one.
This is a final project that I teach in my Udemy course. It's a fully fledged chat system that enables you to be a part of a group chat or to talk to one particular user. Made with both vanilla JavaScript and jQuery, with PHP and MySQL on the server side. It's basically a messenger/viber type of app.

It's basically a social network type of site, done in HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript (withjQuery), PHP and MySQL. With some bootstrap icluded. It has many features one can find on Facebook - adding/removing friends, status posts on both the index page and profiles, full real-time messaging system, liking and commenting posts and such. You can register and try it out
